In the 1970s, the brutal Pol Pot regime nearly destroyed Cambodia, killing around 2 million people through execution, forced labor or starvation. Thirty years later, the country still struggles to meet the basic needs of its people. Deep psychological scars remain, and many suffer from stress related disorders. Through this broken world walks Cambodia's next generation, growing up largely ignored and unwanted by adults who do not listen to them and cannot afford to send them to school. Instead, these children must stay at home, tending to younger siblings and doing housework. Lack of education even extends to hygiene and disease, which children can fall victim to so easily. Even those who are allowed to attend Sunday school may not get the guidance and love they need, as teachers lack the education and materials to adequately help them.
Seeing the desperate need of its nation's children, TWR-Cambodia's team produces the Happy Children's Garden program, a weekly 15-minute Bible story series geared to reach children of all ages. Beginning with creation and ending with Christ's return, each program not only teaches life applications, but also biblical traditions, customs, culture and the geography of the Holy Land, so that children will have a more complete knowledge of Scripture. Listeners learn songs performed by children in churches TWR's team visits, and they can win prizes by sending in correct answers to questions about the day's story.
Happy Children's Garden is currently aired on local FM stations throughout Cambodia. The TWR-Cambodia team also touches listeners' lives on a personal level through correspondence and rallies held in different villages, where they learn more biblical lessons, receive gifts of basic hygiene items and eat food specially prepared by volunteers.
Your gift of $100 will help direct Cambodian children toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

“Does spirituality even matter in the 21st century?” “What happens to me after I pass away?” “Where do my moral values come from?”
Eighty-two percent of European Millennials are completely disconnected from churches and religious organizations. To this people group, the questions above are confusing, complicated…and vital. They are yearning for truth.
Many young people go to online podcasts to find answers to their deepest questions. We are currently in the midst of a global podcast phenomenon. This is a gift from God for a media organization like TWR, and we need to meet those young people where they search for truth!
Furthermore, podcasts are ideally suited for engaging in personal and profound conversations about important spiritual topics. We now have a new podcast doing exactly this and reaching out to young, secular people—This Is Real Talk!
This Is Real Talk! is a video podcast series in which our host interviews young, prominent Christians, including writers and professional athletes, about fundamental spiritual questions such as those above. The videos are distributed via YouTube and the audio via popular audio apps.
We have already begun with the Spanish pilot project of Esto Es Real Talk! Check out the video version on YouTube. You can also listen to it on iTunes,Spotify, SoundCloud and Ivoox.
We hope to expand to new languages in Europe and beyond in the future. Many secular young Europeans are apathetic to religion. They see it as irrelevant to their lives. However, they are searching for truth and open to honest conversations.
Will you join us in this great opportunity to use a current media trend to reach a largely ignored audience with truth?

There are few recent religious statistics on European Millennials. The population surveyed in this statistic were 16 to 24-year-olds in 2006, so they would be about 29-37 years old in 2019 (i.e. older Millennials).

What began as a ministry to tsunami survivors eight years ago has grown into a countrywide ministry of 10 programs that air to Japanese listeners over 20 FM stations.
A team of pastors produces programs while TWR is also developing on-the-ground outreaches to men and women through Every Man A Warrior and TWR Women of Hope. TWR’s Truth in the Test Tube program for scientists and atheists adds a challenging look at God as creator by exploring various science-based topics.
Our Japan staff has a vibrant and growing ministry in a country that has been called the second-largest unreached people group in the world. Will you come alongside them?

We’re bringing the word of God straight into the hands of those most in need in Africa!
Many parts of Africa do not have the means of connecting to the internet. Radio is not only affordable, but convenient, easy to use and a virtual lifeline to many. It’s why the ministry of TWR is so treasured in this part of the world, and why it’s all the more important we give its people the means to tune into the hope of Jesus Christ!
Your gift will put a wind-up or solar-powered radio (or two, or three, or twenty) into the grateful hands of people in Burundi, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. And with TWR, when you give a radio, you give hope. Will you join us?

The vast continent of Africa is home to nearly 2,500 ethnic groups, and many of them are Muslims. Throughout the rural settings of the many people groups, radio plays a major role in village life as 20 or more people typically gather around the radio for news, music, storytelling, and most importantly, spiritual nourishment.
TWR’s AM, FM, shortwave and satellite broadcasts bring in-depth teaching from God’s Word. With every gift of a radio at $50, many more least-reached people in Sub-Saharan Africa will be able to hear the gospel and find hope.

TWR Bolivia has produced a new radio program for children who speak the indigenous Quechua language. Each episode tells them about God and teaches biblical values and principles in their native language. The program has been so popular that the production team is recording another 170 episodes.
Quechua people live primarily in the Andean Highlands or difficult-to-access forest regions. Over 2 million children in Bolivia speak Quechua. Radio is a key tool in accessing this people group, and strategically placed radio receivers immediately draw the Quechua to Jesus as they realize he speaks the language of their hearts!
Your gift of $58 provides a radio and gives a Quechua child’s family an opportunity to hear the Bible in their heart language.

About half of Ukrainians live in poverty, and the recent political turmoil has only added to their anxiety. The rampant use of drugs and alcohol takes a tremendous toll on society, and many Ukrainian women deal with prostitution, trafficking, HIV/AIDS, abortion, and divorce.
In addition, according to prayer guide Operation World, in the years since communism fell, the market economy has allowed corruption to flourish among the elite while many others languish in need.
The radio program Biblical Statement is produced in Kiev, Ukraine, by a journalist who seeks to address the questions of atheists and skeptics. The goal is to encourage listeners to think for themselves, considering the biblical answers presented in the program.
This weekly program for Russian speakers in Ukraine and the surrounding countries allows TWR's local team there to reach out to the lost, bitter, and hopeless. The response from listeners is evidence the program makes a difference in young adult lives as they search for the truth that can set them free.
Our goal to continue producing Biblical Statement for another year is $25,000.

In 2018, TWR upgraded our Caribbean transmitter to 450,000 watts with the hope of reaching all of Cuba with our Shine 800 AM radio signal from Bonaire. During a recent visit to Cuba, we heard clear and strong reception of the broadcasts, confirming that our goal has been achieved.
We also sat with Cuban listeners to hear how much the broadcasts mean to them. Many radios used by people in Cuba are old Russian-made models that are wearing out. Many would love to listen to the broadcasts but do not own a working radio.
Receivers available in stores are poor in quality and priced out of reach for most people. In Cuba, where the internet is regulated and the roads are hard to travel, radio is an important tool to bring the gospel and encourage believers.
Your gift of $45 will bless a Cuban with a quality solar-powered radio to tune in to messages of hope.

TWR's ministry in Cambodia has a long history of producing and airing a popular program for children in the Khmer language called Happy Children's Garden. The on-air episodes are complemented by rallies conducted in villages where staff can personally minister to children with songs, Scripture, and puppetry while also providing a meal.
Other Khmer radio programs include Women of Hope and several translated programs of our media partners. Unfortunately, the recording and production studio is in very bad shape. Short-term fixes are no longer working, and production of programs has become compromised. A major upgrade to the studio is needed to sustain TWR’s ministry in Cambodia.
The population has cause for despair in one of the world’s poorest countries. Poverty drives thriving industries in drug trafficking, prostitution, and child labor, but here's what one listener to Women of Hope said: “I learned that true joy and peace are from God, who changes me and enables me to live with grace.”
A gift to TWR's Cambodia studio upgrade will allow more Cambodians to hear about the grace of God that replaces despair with hope.

According to research by Joshua Project, 445 people groups in China are unreached, but TWR can share the gospel with them by radio, and we are seeking funding to air two specific programs.
God Remembers Them mobilizes prayer among the approximately 100 million Mandarin-speaking believers in China, encouraging them to pray for the salvation of these unreached groups. The Straight Path is a series of 52 dramatized Bible stories, 30 minutes each.
Episodes move through the Bible chronologically and provide music and teaching about God’s love and biblical relationships. Will you prayerfully consider giving to this gift of the gospel?

The Czech Republic has the highest percentage of atheists in the world. In most cities and towns, there is no local evangelical church or Sunday school available to help them find God or even find out that He exists. Children born into this culture may never get the opportunity to hear about Jesus and come to an early belief in Him. These children are not only the future of their nation, but a very real hope for the present as well, as their faith can lead families, neighbors, and communities to the Lord.
To respond to this need, TWR is developing an exciting range of new children's programs that bring the good news of God's love to many young lives for the very first time. Designed for all ages, the aim of the programs is to change young lives for Christ. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a new era of children's ministry in the Czech Republic from the beginning, but the work can only grow as the Lord leads supporters to come alongside workers in the field.
A gift of $50 will cover the costs of preparing, producing and broadcasting one full 15-minute Konafasek program on radio and other media devices. Konafasek, which focuses on sharing biblical principles on life in a story-telling format that children can easily understand, is a term used at the end of the day when kids would crawl under the blanket.
Alternatively, a gift of $300 will make 90 minutes of the Kormidlo program via radio and other media devices possible. Kormidlo means ‘rudder’ and seeks to explain in a dynamic, interactive way how God needs to be the rudder of our lives.
There are approximately two million listeners waiting to hear that God loves them. Please consider supporting children's programs in the Czech Republic today!

The Persian-speaking world is made up of countries whose religious and traditional beliefs make it extremely difficult to penetrate with the gospel. Churches grow slowly, if at all, as they are beaten down by governments, communities and families antagonistic to Christianity. With so few resources to bring up new believers, pastors and lay leaders lack the deep knowledge and understanding of the Bible they need to nurture their small flocks.
Where missionaries are locked out and local Christians face persecution, radio can reach quietly into the homes and hearts of Persian-speaking believers. In cooperation with others, TWR has developed Discipleship On The Air (DOTA), a discipleship and mentoring program for emerging house church leaders in the Middle East. This project combines seminars, radio broadcasts, on-the-ground ministry with and appropriate study materials to meet the needs of leaders. A carefully developed curriculum is being aired via radio with complementary written material distributed to a select group of people ahead of time. The written material is also available on the Internet.
Please consider partnering with us in this important ministry to Persian-speaking church leaders. Your gift today will make a significant difference to airing this desperately needed program to the Persian Speaking World.
