A New Partnership for Radio Stations in Mexico

Mexico is one of the world’s most violent countries. People live in fear of gang violence, corruption, and drug trafficking. Christians are considered a threat to organized crime, and pastors face intimidation and death threats with the aim of silencing their ministries.

TWR has a new national partner in Mexico, Radio Encuentro, and its founder and president has been persevering for years to get permission to establish radio stations in the country.

The mission of Radio Encuentro is to broadcast into the most remote areas of Mexico and draw listeners into an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Permission has been granted to set up a station in the state of Veracruz, and TWR would like to assist with the funds to complete the station and begin work on a second one while also supplying Spanish programming to a potential listening audience of about 3 million people. TWR would like to secure $50,000 for this new partnership.
