On July 1, 2013, TWR launched a program in the Arabic Syrian language called Hope for Syria. More than two years later, the 15-minute weekly broadcasts continue to share the hope of Christ with Syrians during this time of fear and war.
The program gives the local church, despite being under siege, a voice to spread the hope of Christ among its countrymen. Each program addresses three areas: the psychological effects of trauma, fear, anger or uncertainty; medical concerns; and spiritual encouragement for the listeners.
Censorship and even the upheaval of war can never fully prevent radio waves from carrying the gospel to frightened people who desperately need hope. But your support is needed to keep this crucial channel of communication open. Thank you for standing in the gap with us!
